Roger Jean Nsengiyumva as JUMAH

Roger is best known for his lead role as Fabrice in 'Africa United' where he acted alongside former child soldier Emmanuel Jal, writer of the acclaimed memoir 'War Child'.
As a baby, Roger survived the Rwandan genocide and his mother Illuminee chronicled their moving story in a book 'Miracle in Kigali'. A photo of young Roger was spotted on the cover of this book by producers of 'Africa United' and this led to him being cast in his breakthrough film.
Rachael Stirling as LAURA
Rachael Stirling is an acclaimed actress in Film, TV and Theatre who has twice been nominated for an Olivier Award. Her breakthrough TV role was BBC's 'Tipping the Velvet' and, more recently, she starred in ITV's hit drama series 'The Bletchley Circle'. Rachael's film credits include 'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen' and 'Snow White & The Huntsman'.

Rob Brown is an award winning writer-director whose work has been screened at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and broadcast on BBC TV. His award nominations include 'European Competition' at Brest European Short Film Festival, 'Best Newcomer' at Rushes Soho Shorts and the BBC New Filmmakers Award. Rob was selected for the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2007 and 2011.
